COERR organized the family-based disaster risk reduction session which can be done by participation of 91 children: 57 girls and 34 boys on Saturday, March 24, 2018 in Ban Mai Nai Soi camp, Mae Hong Son Province.
Children are excited to learn that they are able to help the vulnerable in the community with their own hand. They then wish to participate in the disaster preparedness activity by packing water bags and sand bags for the vulnerable. After hearing about the activity, they stand up to register for joining the activity.
Children are eager to receive plastic bags and start to put water in some bags and sand in the other bags.
After finishing packing water bags and sand bags, each group walked to the Section they were assigned
Refugee children hang the water bags and sand bags in front of houses with vulnerable elderly people
